I was asked this year to be the live music/band manager for Cleveland Beer Week’s events that included music. Cleveland Beer Week is a pretty large undertaking, and there is a ton of work that goes into having such a great yearly event.
I was very happy to help out this year by booking music acts and managing the music at the following events:
10/11 Belgian Social @ Butcher and The Brewer with Crooked River Blues Band
10/16 “CAN JAM” Presented by Oskar Blues @ The Cleveland Agora with Alan Evans’ Play on Brother
10/18 Brewer’s Circle @ Brewzilla with Chris Hanna & Ben Nieves
10/19 Bluegrass Brew Bash @ Whiskey Island/Wendy Park with Johnny & The Apple Stompers, BOY=GIRL, Thor & The Bluegrass Platter, and headliner The Larry Keel Experience!
Getting to be direct support for Larry Keel was certainly a highlight for me this year. Larry, and his wife Jenny, told me what a wonderful time they had in Cleveland. They were able to come in the night before the event and take in a bit of downtown.
Thanks to Christine @ Cleveland Beer Week for giving me pretty much free direction with what acts I wanted to put in each event. I think it all came together great, and I look forward to helping out next year!
