Alex, over at Retrodyne Austin, released the Thor Platter “Sunshine 17” model earlier this year.
The ‘Sunshine 17’, features a 2 tube reverb circuit, full-size reverb pan, new medium gain preamp. Hammond power transformer, custom Heyboer output transformer. Direct “Point-to-Part (TM)” construction. 2 JJ-EL84 output tubes, NOS 12AT7 reverb driver.
Controls: Drive, 3-position Soul control (bass contour), Volume, Tone, Reverb Dwell, Reverb Mix. Soft start power section dispenses with standby switch. Reverb circuit is in parallel so isn’t affected by Drive settings.
The amp is quite amazing.. you really have to hear one of these for yourself..
